List of MasterCard Foundation Scholarships Program For Young African Students

The Mastercard foundation scholarship is an initiative to educate and prepare young people, especially from Africa to lead change and make a positive social impact in their communities. The Scholars Program seek to provide young Africans from economically disadvantaged communities who have demonstrated academic talent and leadership potential with access to quality and relevant education.

The Scholars Program is implemented through the Mastercard partner universities and non-governmental organizations. The application process and decision-making are managed individually by each partner. If you are interested in becoming a Scholar, you must apply through the university of your choice.

Each Partner institutions has its own deadlines and admission fees. For schools that require application fees as part of the admissions process, the fees will be reimbursed if the student is selected for the Scholars Program.

 

What’s included in the scholarship

The Scholars Program provides financial, social and academic support to Scholars. Financial support includes, but not limited to, tuition fees, accommodation, books, and other scholastic materials, and a return air ticket if studies are pursued at a university outside of a Scholar’s country of citizenship.
