To Receive Money through PayPal in Ghana, you must first create a verified PayPal account. Creating a verified PayPal account in Ghana these days is as simple as you may think. All you have to do is to follow the below guide:

How to Create a PayPal Account

First, visit this link and go to the PayPal homepage.

Once you are on the homepage, you will see Signup and Sign In.

Here, since you are new, choose signup.

Once you click on the signup button, you’ll be displayed with two types of accounts. (Business and Personal)

There are some technicalities here. Since Ghana is not officially listed on PayPal, You use a different country by choosing a business account. This is because You can be in Ghana and have your business registered in other regions and vice versa.

After choosing the Business Account, you will be taken to the registration page, once you are on that page, fill in all the required details.

Note: When entering your mobile number, make sure to choose Ghana in the list and that, your country code is +233.

How to Send and Receive Money Through PayPal in Ghana

To Send or Receive funds using PayPal, you first Sign in to your PayPal account and then navigate to the Tool menu

Once you are under the Tools Submenu, you’ll see the below screen with these options.

To send funds, just click on the Send Money menu.

Now you’ll be asked to enter the email of the Receiver of the Fund. Enter and then continue.

Once you enter the email, you then enter the amount you want to send and confirm the payment to finish up the payment transaction.

Now, to receive cash into your account, you either create a pay me a link from the request money menu or you just send your PayPal email to the person you are receiving the money from and he/she will follow the above steps to send you the money.

    Easy to create an account but still cannot fund it with VISA.
